My family is from Trinidad and Tobago, but I was born and raised in Homestead, Florida.
Growing up with family from the Caribbean, beauty has always been viewed as women who are ‘thicker’ (bigger). If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a thinner person. I developed a narrative over time that I wasn’t pretty enough or good enough because I needed to gain weight. I developed self-esteem issues leading to unhealthy relationships, alcohol abuse, and drug use.
Through therapy, workshops, and diverse healing methods in Florida, I worked on myself. I challenged negative thoughts, gained insights, and learned coping skills. Meditation, yoga, and creative expression aided my healing. Setting boundaries and surrounding myself with supportive people helped me break free from substance abuse. I now strive to support others in their journeys to seek help, reflect, and grow.

I like to provide a nonjudgmental space that incorporates spirituality, mindfulness, and listening to the person for who they are and where they’re at.
